I've been thinking about whether I would have fired Dom Imus from CBS for his comments about the Rutger's women's basketball team. The firing gives wonderful opportunity for columnists like Cal Thomas to sneer about liberal hypocrisy. Perhaps instead I would have pasted Don Imus' picture all over the web. You see, over the radio Don Imus sounds smart and powerful. In person he looks tired and silly. I think his picture all over the web would have advertisers peeling away from CBS within days. After all, wouldn't you rather spend an hour with a group of young women who know how to act their age?
